Uncaria tomentosa – Cat’s claw (Vilcacora) contains large numbers of alkaloids, sterols, amino-glycosides, terpenes, tannins, flavonoids, and other important substances. It has a boosting effect on the correct function of immune system and is beneficial in various types of cancer. Cat’s claw may be used in the supporting treatment of the infections of viral, bacterial and fungal origin, and cardiovascular diseases.

Drop 1 tablespoon of cat’s claw into 1 litre of boiling water; boil for 25 minutes and then let infuse for another 15 minutes. Divide 1 litre of the infusion into three daily doses. Do not exceed recommended daily dose! Not recommended to people after organ transplantation and after blood transfusion. Not suitable for pregnant and nursing women, children under age 3, haemophiliacs, insulin-dependent diabetics, people suffering from autoimmune diseases and people undergoing hormonal therapy.
