South American indigenous people used Lapacho herbal tea as a treatment for various types of inflammation, internal and external. Thanks to its antibiotic effect, it may be used in the treatment of bacteria and fungi. Many experts talk about its supportive effects in the treatment of cancer, including leukaemia. It shows positive influence on a human body after chemotherapy and/or long-term use of psychiatric drugs.
Dried and shredded inner bark of the yellow lapacho tree (Tabebuia serratifolia).
Preparation and recommended dosage: drop 4 teaspoons of Lapacho into 1 litre of boiling water; boil for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and let infuse for 15-20 minutes. Serve either hot, or cold. Drink 1 litre of the infusion over the course of the day, preferably between the meals. After 2-3 weeks, interrupt the application for at least 1 month. Do not exceed recommended daily dose!
